Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi to Nainital
Morning pickup from Delhi airport or railway station. Scenic drive through the Kumaon foothills to Nainital. Evening boat ride on the serene Naini Lake surrounded by hills. Visit the sacred Naina Devi Temple on the lake shore.
Day 2: Nainital Exploration
Full day Nainital lake tour — visit Sattal (Seven Lakes), Bhimtal, and the nine-cornered Naukuchiatal. Afternoon ropeway ride to Snow View Point for panoramic Himalayan views. Evening shopping on Mall Road.
Day 3: Nainital to Kausani via Almora
Drive to Kausani via the charming hill town of Almora. En-route visit Deer Park, the famous Chitai Golu Devta Temple (known for bell offerings), and explore Almora bazaar. Arrive in Kausani — the Switzerland of India.
Day 4: Kausani Sightseeing
Wake up early for a spectacular sunrise over Trishul and Nanda Devi peaks. Visit Anasakti Ashram (Gandhi's favorite retreat), Laxmi Ashram, Sumitranandan Pant Gallery, Kausani Tea Estate with tasting, and the ancient Baijnath Temple.
Day 5: Kausani to Ranikhet
Drive to Ranikhet — a peaceful cantonment town with breathtaking views. En-route visit Ranikhet Golf Course (one of the highest in Asia) and Kalika Temple. Arrive and explore Haidakhan Temple, Rani Jheel, and Ashiana Park.
Day 6: Ranikhet Sightseeing
Full day Ranikhet exploration — visit Chaubatia Orchard (famous for apples, plums, and apricots), Jhula Devi Temple (known for thousands of bells), Ram Mandir, Binsar Mahadev Temple, Kumaon Regiment Museum, Shawl & Tweed Factory, and Mankameshwar Temple.
Day 7: Ranikhet to Delhi
Early morning departure for Delhi. Scenic drive down through the Kumaon hills. Arrive Delhi and drop at airport or railway station for onward journey. Tour concludes with beautiful memories.
