Complete Panch Kedar circuit — 5 sacred Shiva temples across Garhwal — 11 Days 10 Nights
Depart Haridwar early morning. Drive through Rishikesh, Devprayag, and Rudraprayag with scenic river views. Arrive at Guptkashi — the base for Kedarnath. Check into hotel and prepare for the trek ahead.
Drive to Gaurikund. Begin the 19 km uphill trek to Kedarnath (6-7 hours) at 3,584 m altitude. Kedarnath houses the conical-shaped Shiva lingam considered to be the hump of Lord Shiva. Evening Aarti at the temple.
Early morning darshan at Kedarnath — the first of the five Kedar temples. Trek back 19 km to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi. Rest and prepare for Tungnath.
Drive from Guptkashi to Chopta — a scenic hamlet known as the Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand. The lush meadows and panoramic views make this a stunning stopover. Check into camp or guesthouse.
Trek 4 km from Chopta to Tungnath Temple at 3,680 m — the highest Shiva temple in the world. Marvel at breathtaking views of Nanda Devi, Chowkhamba, and Neelkanth peaks. Darshan at the temple. Optionally continue 1.5 km to Chandrashila summit. Trek back to Chopta.
Drive to Sagar Village, the base for the Rudranath trek. Prepare gear and get briefed about the challenging trail through rhododendron forests and alpine meadows.
Begin the trek to Rudranath Temple at 2,286 m through forests and meadows. The natural rock temple sits amid stunning scenery with sacred pools — Surya Kund, Chandra Kund, Tara Kund, and Mana Kund. Darshan at Rudranath — the third Kedar.
Trek back from Rudranath. Drive to Uniana — the starting point for the Madhyamaheshwar trek. Rest and prepare for the next leg.
Begin the 19 km trek to Madhyamaheshwar at 3,289 m via Ransi and Gaundhar. The trail passes through pristine valleys with views of snow-capped peaks. Darshan at Madhyamaheshwar — the fourth Kedar where Lord Shiva's navel is worshipped.
Trek back from Madhyamaheshwar. Drive to Urgam village and complete the final 2 km trek to Kalpeshwar — the only Panch Kedar temple open throughout the year. Darshan at Kalpeshwar — the fifth and final Kedar. The sacred circuit is now complete.
Morning departure from Urgam. Long scenic drive back to Haridwar through mountain roads. Arrive Haridwar by evening. The Panch Kedar Yatra concludes with blessings from all five sacred shrines. Drop at hotel or railway station.
