Tour Highlights
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot
Depart Haridwar early morning. Scenic drive via Mussoorie and stop at the stunning Kempty Falls for photos. Continue to Barkot, a small town serving as the base for Yamunotri. Check into hotel.
Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri & Return
Drive to Janki Chatti and trek 6 km to Yamunotri Temple (pony/palki available). Bathe in Surya Kund thermal springs and offer prayers at the temple. Trek back and return to Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi
Drive to Uttarkashi along the Bhagirathi River. Visit Shivgufa (Shiva Cave) and the ancient Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Evening free for exploring the town markets.
Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri & Return
Morning drive to Gangotri via Gangnani Hot Springs and scenic Harsil Valley. Holy dip and darshan at Gangotri Temple — the origin of River Ganga. Return to Uttarkashi by evening.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
Drive to Guptkashi alongside the beautiful Mandakini River. Visit Ardh Narishwar Temple. Rest and prepare for the Kedarnath trek.
Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath
Drive to Gaurikund and begin the Kedarnath trek (18 km) or take a helicopter (extra cost). Arrive at the sacred Kedarnath Temple (3,584 m). Attend the powerful evening Aarti.
Day 7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
Morning darshan at Kedarnath. Trek back 18 km to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi. Rest and recuperate.
Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Dip in Taptkund hot spring and attend temple darshan. Evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple. Visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, and Charanpaduka.
Day 9: Badrinath to Rudraprayag
Depart Badrinath. Drive through Joshimath visiting Vishnuprayag, Narsingh Temple, Karnprayag, and Nandprayag. Overnight at Rudraprayag.
Day 10: Rudraprayag to Haridwar
Morning departure. Stop at Devprayag — confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. Continue to Haridwar. Drop at hotel or railway station. The sacred Chaar Dham Yatra concludes.
